Waking up after a night of heavenly restful sleep; taking in that first breath of clean mountain air in the morning; the feeling of wonder when you catch a glimpse of the majestic scenery right outside your window; the comfort of truly being at home and close to nature - all that is what makes every single room and cabin so special.
Here are the individual features:
Standard RoomOur Standard Rooms are located in the Dove Lodge, the heart of Echo Valley Ranch & Spa. It's the place where guests, staff and owners gather for meals, to share their stories and adventures and to celebrate the joys of everyday life in our beautiful valley. The Dove Lodge is truly the centre of all the action: the games room is located here, as is our sundeck with phenomenal views of the Cariboo Mountains. You can sign up for spa treatments or activities here, relax in our living room or spend time on our sundeck that doubles as a stardeck for stargazing at night.
Dove Lodge can be a busy place, full of laughter and activities - so if you want to jump right in and be a part of our multicultural Canadian family then a Standard Room is the right choice for you. You'll also be able to stop by the ranch kitchen and get a glimpse (and taste) of the next farm-fresh dinner before you head out on your next adventure.
Standard Room are available with one queen or two twin beds and our team will be happy to help you choose the perfect room for you.
Premium RoomOur Premium Rooms are located in the Lookout Lodge, where you can enjoy many of the unique features of our resort - ranch life, nature and aboriginal art. The building is a work of art in itself, adorned with an elaborate hand-carved mural on the outside and an abundance of native art on the inside. Echo Valley Artist in Residence Michael Blackstock, who also authored our Guest's Guide to Artwork, displays some of his exquisite art in Room 12. Four distinct masks tell the story of an axis mundi, a bridge to another spirit world. You can read the fascinating story behind the masks on pages 5-7 of the Guest's Guide to Artwork.
Only a short walk from the Dove Lodge, the Lookout Lodge sits between the horses' corral and our fishing ponds. Rugged ranch life and soothing solitude await, and of course, you can have both - how about a horseback ride in the morning and a quiet walk through our beautiful forests in the afternoon? If you enjoy being close to nature and want to experience the fascinating native art up close, then a room in our Lookout Lodge is the right choice for you.
Premium Rooms are equipped with one king or queen bed and select rooms even feature sleeping lofts for additional accommodations (the kids will love it!). Of course, our team will be happy to help you select the perfect room.
Unique CabinsImagine sitting on the front porch of a uniquely Canadian cabin, enjoying fantastic views while listening to the sounds of nature. Or imagine stepping out of this cabin in the morning and catching a glimpse of a deer or a soaring bald eagle. How about getting cozy by the fireplace inside, knowing there is a blanket of countless stars above?
The ranch is dotted with our unique cabins of different sizes and if you are looking for a truly Canadian accommodation that will feel like home we're sure there is one that's just the right size for you.
Our Log Studio - also known as the Honeymoon Cabin - is the most secluded of our cabins and perfect for a romantic getaway or for a retreat to reconnect and nourish body and soul. Enjoy fantastic views of the Cariboo Valley and Mountains while you relax on your private deck. This cabin features a queen bed adjoining an open living area, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Our One Bedroom Cabins are close to all the ranch action. Located between Dove Lodge and the Baan Thai, they offer the perfect opportunity to head straight onto the trails for some leisurely walks or to just sit and enjoy the sight of our border collies playing in the meadows. But we have to warn you - you may have to join in and play fetch - our collies can be very convincing when it comes to playtime. One Bedroom Cabins are equipped with king beds in a separate bedroom and a cozy living space with a fireplace. They also feature a sleeping loft with two twin beds and a bathroom with a tub.
The largest one of the cabins - The Ranch Suite - is located beside the horse's corral and offers the most spectacular views of Mount Bowman. You'll have a hard time deciding whether you should join the wranglers on a trail ride or just stay on the wrap-around deck and soak up the Cariboo sun (we have a hard time deciding ourselves). The Ranch Suite features two separate bedrooms (each with a private bathroom) as well as a sleeping loft, so up to six people can feel at home while enjoying the Canadian dream.
Our team will be happy to help you select the best experience!
The Royal SuiteIf there is such a thing as a place you never want to leave, it's our Royal Suite. You can overlook the whole ranch from the suite and its private roof-top terrace (if you manage to leave this haven of comfort and luxury). The gracious elegance of traditional Thai architecture is apparent everywhere in the suite and the plush furnishings and handmade king-sized bed are perfect accents in this magical space. The Royal Suite is located in our signature building, the Baan Thai. Authentically Thai and uniquely Canadian at the same time, the Baan Thai epitomizes our East-West cultural blend and the feeling of magic becomes tangible the minute you enter the Royal Suite.
The Baan Thai is located next to our riding arena; close to several trailheads and the outdoor kitchen, where summer evenings by a blazing fire will leave you feeling a sense of wonder and belonging.
When you stay at the Royal Suite you will enjoy a spacious living area, king-sized bed and a state-of-the-art ensuite with a steam shower. You will also have access to the authentic Thai Spa via your private terrace. Of course, our team will be happy to help you plan your royal stay!
