The Echo Valley Guest Ranch
"Combining the old with the new"
The first homestead at Echo Valley Ranch & Spa dates back to 1908. All of the old structures remain including a log house, a root cellar, two log animal shelters and a log shed. Right up to this day, Echo Valley is a working ranch and provides our guest with an insight into the life of a cowboy and rancher.
Echo Valley Ranch & Spa is also home to a horse herd of over 40, most of which are Tennessee Walking Horses, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, pigs, cats and five Border Collies (Jack, Jayne, Almo, Sparky and Anna, Jinny, ).
Organic vegetables are grown in the garden as well as berries, currents and herbs. The new root cellar stores our vegetables plus choice wines in the "back section". The green house gets plants started early in the spring plus provides a source of peppers and flowers.
Norm and Nan Dove purchased the ranch in 1990 and have taken special care to ensure that the ambience of this Cariboo ranch was preserved during the development of what is now a world class destination resort. The combination of the old with the new in our Canadian wilderness setting provides for a truly unique operation.
