No matter how you choose to travel to Echo Valley Ranch & Spa, approaching from the north, south, east or west will take you through spectacular scenery!
From Vancouver, Echo Valley is a scenic five and a half-hour drive via the historic Fraser Canyon or four hours from Whistler Resort; or just an hour's flight from Vancouver. The route from Calgary or Jasper, to Echo Valley, will take you through the Rocky Mountains and several world famous National Parks and points of interest.
Charter flights directly to the ranch airstrip, or scheduled flights to Kamloops airport, help to make the most of limited time. Transfers between the ranch and Kamloops can be arranged by calling our reservations at (1 800 253 8831) or by emailing info@evranch.com
At Clinton, turn off Highway 97 at the Round-up Motel and proceed on Kelly Lake Road for approximately 17 km (10 mi.). Turn right at Jesmond Road. From the turnoff (sign-posted) continue for 33 km (20 mi.) to the ranch entrance on the left (sign-posted). The private drive in is about 1.5 km (1 mi.). Travel time to the ranch from Clinton: less than 1 hour. NOTE: We recommend that you fill your fuel tank at Clinton or Cache Creek.If you choose to travel by rail: Ride the rails!From Kamloops: Follow Highway 1 (west) to Cache Creek. Turn right at Cache Creek and follow Highway 97 to Clinton. Travel time is less than 1˝ hours to Clinton.
From Vancouver via the Fraser Canyon: Take Highway 1 (east) through the Fraser Valley to Hope. Highway 1 continues north, alongside the Fraser canyon, via Lytton to Cache Creek. Pass through Cache Creek and follow Highway 97 to Clinton. Travel time less than 4˝ hours to Clinton. From Clinton to the ranch is about a 45 minutes drive.
From Vancouver via Whistler Resort: Take the Sea to Sky Highway 99 via Whistler to Pemberton and Mount Currie then take the Duffey Lake Road (Highway 99) to Lillooet. In the summer months, and/or when the road is open, continue on to Pavilion and take a scenic short cut through the Pavilion Indian reserve, through the Diamond S Ranch, up and over Pavilion Mountain to Kelly Lake. At the far end of Kelly Lake take the Jesmond Road to Echo Valley Ranch & Spa (see directions from Clinton). An alternative would be to pass by Pavilion and continue onto Highway 97. At Highway 97 turn north to Clinton. From Clinton we are about a 45 minutes drive.
From Calgary: See the Rockies! - Take Highway 1 (west) from Calgary through Banff, Lake Louise, Yoho National Park, Kicking Horse Pass, Golden, Glacier National Park, Revelstoke, Salmon Arm, and Kamloops to Cache Creek. Then Highway 97 to Clinton. From Clinton the ranch is about a 45 minutes drive.
From Jasper: Highway 16 to Highway 5 at Tete Jaune Cache. Continue south through Valemount to Little Fort, then turn west on Highway 24 and pass through Bridge Lake, Lone Butte to 93 mile House, then turn south on Highway 97 to Clinton. From Clinton the ranch is about a 45 minute drive.
There is a train that passes through Kamloops between Calgary and Vancouver. Trains and transfers between the ranch and Kamloops can be arranged by calling our reservations at (1 800 253 8831).If you choose to travel by air:From the east: Enjoy a magnificent view of the Canadian Rocky Mountains as you leave Jasper and head towards Kamloops. Contact Via Rail, or our reservation personnel, and ask about trips that will take you from Alberta to Kamloops.
International scheduled flights are available to Kamloops Airport - YKA. Domestic flights operate daily from Vancouver and Calgary with Air Canada and WestJet.Charter flights are available from any-where you choose, direct to Echo Valley’s private airstrip - walking distance from our lodge.
