Many of these, such as Thai Massage, are widely practised in Thailand as a primary form of health care. No machines are used for any treatment, and where appropriate, they only incorporate specially blended Thai herbal creams and oils that nourish and soften the skin. All spa treatments are provided by extensively trained, professional Thai therapists who have helped make Echo Valley one of the best luxury spa resorts in BC.
Here, on the upper level, lies the spacious Sabai Sabai spa suite. Furnished with specialty Thai Massage treatment beds, a mountain-mist herbal steam bath and jet shower, Thai silks and teak carvings, this one-of-a-kind spa suite is a special way to fully enjoy Echo Valley's Thai Spa experiences. As soon as you enter, every sense is calmed and heightened: the air is aromatic with specially blended oils, herbs and spices, many of which have been rurally sourced and imported for Echo Valley's exclusive use. The music is soothing and the delicious herbal teas are quintessentially Thai.
The Thai call this state of harmony: Sabai Sabai, and use the term frequently to denote a balanced and natural way of living that includes nutrition, exercise and one's overall attitude to life and relationships as well as one's spiritual connection to nature.
